Landry Shamet led the team with 16 points on 5 of 6 from behind the arc with a team-high 6 assists and a pair of blocks. Rashard Kelly, Conner Frankamp and Austin Reaves all added 11 points to finish off the double-digit scoring for the Shockers in the win, with Kelly added 12 rebounds for the double-double, while Frankamp and Reaves each knocked down 3 triples. Houston is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall while the over is 9-3 in their last 12 conference matchups. Wichita State is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a win while the under is 11-5 in their last 16 games overall.
I know Wichita State is one of the toughest places to go on the road and cover let alone win. However, this is a lot of points to give up to a Houston team that’s been red hot lately and is capable of filling it up and can hang with the Shockers offensively. I think this could go down to the wire and who has the ball last, so I’ll take a stab at Houston and the points here.
