The Rider Broncs host the Fairfield Stags in MAAC college basketball action on Friday.
After opening their MAAC schedule with a win versus Saint Peters the Fairfield Stags dropped a 61-58 decision at the Manhattan Jaspers as a two point underdog. Fairfield never found the shooting touch as they were outshot 48.8%-35% which negated 17 more shot attempts.

Tyler Nelson paced the Stags scoring with 15 points, five pulls and three assists on 5-15 from the floor followed by Jonathan Kasibalu with 14 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks on 6-9 shooting. Ferron Flavors Jr. and Matija Milin gave Fairfield nine points each with Milin grabbing another eight rebounds.
The Rider Broncs have been on the losing end of several close games but there wasn’t anything close in their 99-76 rout of the Niagara Purple Eagles as a one point road favorite. Rider was outstanding at both ends of the floor by holding the Purple Eagles to 35.5% shooting and countering at 52%.
Jordan Allen paced the explosive Broncs attack with 18 points and nine rebounds with Frederick Scott adding 16 points and seven boards on 6-9 accuracy. Rider received 15 points and six pulls from Tyere Marshall on 7-12 from the field while Stevie Jordan and Demencio Vaughn tossed in 12 and nine points with a combined eleven rebounds.
Under is 17-8-2 in Fairfield last 27 overall. Over is 7-1 in Rider last 8 overall and Rider are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall. Fairfield are 13-3 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Rider and road team is 20-6 ATS in the last 26 meetings.
