The Purple Eagles received 21 points and seven boards from Marvin Prochet on 7-11 from the floor followed by James Towns with 14 points and five assists on 2-6 shooting an a 9-9 effort at the stripe. Kahlil Dukes gave Niagara 13 points on 4-13 from the field while Kevin Larkin and Greg King netted eight points each with King hauling in nine rebounds.

The Siena Saints are just 4-11 but have lost several close contests so the team might be better then their record says. Siena has kicked off conference play with consecutive defeats after a 71-70 loss to the visiting Quinnipiac Bobcats as a 3.5 point favorite on Monday. The Saints held a 53.1%-40.4% shooting edge with Quinnipiac sinking 14 more free throws to steal a game.

Siena leaned on Evan Fisher at the offensive end and he totaled 21 points, five boards and two steals on 7-11 from the floor including a 4-6 mark on threes while Roman Penn added 19 points, five pulls and six steals  on 7-10  accuracy followed by a 14 point effort from Khalil Richard on 5-9 shooting.

Over is 10-1 in Niagara last 11 overall. Siena are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Friday games and under is 19-7 in Siena last 26 Friday games and Siena are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 home games. Under is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings in Siena.

An argument could be made for either team with inconsistency being rampant so I’ll sit this one out…
