Xfinity Center College Park will be featuring college basketball action on Sunday evening as the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Maryland Terrapins meet up.
Iowa enters this game with a 9-8 record overall. The Hawkeyes had a five-game win streak going but have lost their last two versus Michigan and Ohio State. In that Buckeyes game, Iowa’s Tyler Cook led the team on 21 points.

Cook is also the top scorer for the Hawkeyes on the season with 15.2 PPG and 6.6 RPG, while Jordan Bohannon is second on 11.8 PPG. Also in double-figures for Iowa are Isaiah Moss (11.4 PPG) and Luka Garza (10.4 PPG).
Over on the Maryland side, they’re sitting at 13-4 on the season. The Terrapins had a seven-game win streak going but lost their last game to Michigan State on Thursday. In that Spartans game, Maryland guard Anthony Cowan put up 26 points.
Cowan is tops in scoring for Maryland this season on 16.2 PPG with 4.9 RPG and 4.5 APG. Also in double-figures for the Terrapins are Kevin Huerter (14.2 PPG) and Bruno Fernando (10.3 PPG).
The Hawkeyes are 8-17-2 ATS in their last 27 games following an ATS loss and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games. Iowa is also 0-2-2 ATS in their last four games following a straight-up loss and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Big Ten.
Meanwhile, the Terrapins are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Maryland is also 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the Big Ten and 0-4 ATS in their last four Sunday games.
After a nice run against some sub-par teams, Iowa is back to looking sketchy over their last two games. The Hawkeyes have lost by at least seven in both of those. As for Maryland, they were cruising along fairly well but ran into the buzzsaw of Michigan State and lost by 30. All things considered here, I like Maryland to bounce back here and cover.
