The Saint Louis Billikens visit the George Mason Patriots in Saturday afternoon college basketball.
Even though the Saint Louis Billikens are off to a 1-3 start in the Atlantic Ten but the team is showing signs of improvement. Saint Louis is coming in off of a 72-65 defeat to the Rhode Island Rams as a 7.5 point home dog on Tuesday. Rhode Island held a 46.3%-41.7% edge in marksmanship which was the biggest difference in the game.

The Billikens leaned on the scoring of Davell Roby who pumped in 19 points with four yanks and three assists on 4-12 and 11-12 at the line. St. Louis received 13 points and four pulls from DJ Foreman on 4-6 shooting with Jalen Johnson tossing in ten points and snagging seven rebounds on 3-7 from the field.
We probably won’t know what we have in the George Mason Patriots until their conference schedule is more mature but we do know is there needs to be more scoring and better defense. George Mason stepped it up offensively in an 81-79 win versus the St. Joseph’s Hawks as a four point home dog behind a 50.8%-43.3% shooting edge.
Otis Livingston II carried the Patriots attack with a contest high 25 points with five pulls on 10-13 from the floor followed by a 15 point, six board effort from Ian Boyd. Jaire Grayer added 13 points and six pulls on 5-10 shooting while Jutin Kier scored 12 points and hauled in ten rebounds.
