The Line: James Madison Dukes -2.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

Coming up on Saturday from JMU Convocation Center, the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens will be meeting up with the James Madison Dukes in college basketball activity.

Delaware enters this game with a 10-8 record so far. The Hens have won six of their last eight games, most recently over Drexel on Thursday. In that one, Delaware forward Eric Carter put up 17 points.

James Madison vs. Delaware - 1/13/18 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Tops in scoring on the season for the Blue Hens is Ryan Daly with 17.3 PPG and 5.6 RPG. Also in the double-digit club for Delaware are Ryan Allen (13.9 PPG), Kevin Anderson (13.7 PPG), Carter (11.1 PPG; 8.9 RPG) and Anthony Mosley (10.4 PPG).

As for James Madison, they’re currently 4-14 this season. The Dukes have lost their last six games straight, and fell to William & Mary in their last outing. In that one, James Madison’s Matt Lewis put up 22 points.

Tops in scoring for James Madison this year is Stuckey Mosley with 19.3 PPG, and Joey McLean has 11.6 PPG for second place. Also in double-figures for the Dukes is Lewis, with 11.2 PPG to his credit.

The Blue Hens are 5-2 ATS in the last seven versus the Colonial, and the over is 4-1 in their last five Saturday games. The over is 5-2 in the Hens’ last seven overall and 5-2 in the last seven following an ATS win.
Meanwhile, James Madison is 4-9 ATS in their last 13 Saturday games and 2-5 ATS in the last seven home games. The over is 6-0 in the Dukes’ last six home games and 4-1 in the last five Saturday games.

Delaware was stumbling a bit early last month at 4-6, but since they they’re playing much better and have the wins to show for it. This road game against a weaker James Madison squad is the Hens’ for the taking, but I think the Dukes have enough scoring to push ahead and cover.
