Over at Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday, the Siena Saints and the Manhattan Jaspers will be meeting up on the college basketball court.

Siena comes into this one with a 5-13 record so far. The Saints have lost four of their last five games, and fell to Iona in their last outing Thursday. In that one, Siena guard Ahsante Shivers put up 13 points.

USA TODAY Sports

Heading up the scoring for Siena this year is Nico Clareth with 15.1 PPG. The only other Saints player in double-digits is Shivers with 10.1 PPG, but Roman Penn isn’t too far off the pace with 9.6 PPG and 4.6 RPG.

As for Manhattan, they’re 8-9 this season. The Jaspers had lost two consecutive games but beat Fairfield in their last outing. In that one, Manhattan forward Pauly Paulicap put up 14 points.

Tops on the stat sheet for the Jaspers this year is Rich Williams with 13.8 PPG. Also in double-digits for Manhattan is Zane Waterman, and Calvin Crawford is pretty close with 9.5 PPG and 5.2 RPG to his name this year.

The Saints are 5-1 ATS in the last six games following an ATS win and 10-2 ATS in the last 12 road games. Siena is also 7-2 ATS in their last nine games following a straight-up loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 versus the Metro Atlantic.

Meanwhile, the Jaspers are 4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win. Manhattan is also 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and the under is 6-1 in the last seven Saturday games.

Siena doesn’t have much to offer in the way of scoring this year, but oddly enough they’ve hit 70 points in two of their last three losses (and 69 in the other one), which isn’t bad in relative terms. As for Manhattan, they’ve put up 66 points or fewer in two of their last three games. That said, I think the Jaspers can hold on here for a cover.
