Coming up from Hec Edmunson Pavilion on Saturday evening, the Stanford Cardinal and the Washington Huskies will be locking horns on the college basketball circuit.

Stanford enters this one at 9-8 so far. The Cardinal have won their last three straight games, most recently taking out Washington State on Thursday. In that game, Stanford guard Dorian Pickens put up 28 points.

USA TODAY Sports

Reid Travis is the top Cardinal scorer this year on 20.4 PPG and 7.5 RPG, while Pickens has 12.9 PPG to his name. Also in double-figures for Stanford are Kenzie Okpala (12.4 PPG; five games) and Michael Humphrey (11.5 PPG; 8.1 RPG).

Over on the Washington side, they’re sitting at 13-4 this year. The Huskies have won their last two games over Washington State and California. In that Cal game, Washington’s Jaylen Nowell put up 20 points.

Washington’s leading scorer this season is Nowell, with 16.5 PPG. Also in double-digits for the Huskies are Noah Dickerson (14.9 PPG: 7.6 RPG), David Crisp (12.2 PPG) and Matisse Thybulle (10.9 PPG).

The Cardinal are 5-2 ATS in the last seven overall and 10-26-1 ATS in their last 37 road games. The under is 4-1 in Stanford’s last five road games and 7-2-2 in the last 11 overall.

Meanwhile, Washington is 4-1 ATS in the last five versus the Pac-12 and 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games. The Huskies are also 1-7 ATS in the last eight home games and the under is 5-0 in their last five Saturday games.

Stanford has a decent offense, and they can put up the points when they’re so inclined. The Cardinal have logged at least 77 points in each of their last three games. As for Washington, they haven’t exactly been overwhelming lately, but they’ve been scoring Ws pretty consistently since mid-November. Still, I think the Cardinal can hang around here and cover.
