The Dartmouth Big Green will be looking for a win to snap a 9 game losing skid that has them sitting at the bottom of the Ivy League standings, following their 77-74 road loss to Columbia last time out. Adrease Jackson led Dartmouth with 24 points on 7 of 13 shooting with 4 threes and a team-high 14 rebounds for the double-double. Miles Wright came 2nd with 19 points on 6 of 13 shooting with 3 threes while Taylor Johnson added 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting with a pair of threes and 5 assists. Brendan Barry added 11 points on 4 of 9 shooting with 3 triples and a team-high 6 assists to round out the quartet of double digit scorers for Dartmouth in the losing effort. Johnson leads the Big Green in scoring with 12.4 points per game, while Barry leads Dartmouth in assists with 4.2 assists per game and Wright leads the Big Green on the glass with 4.4 boards per game this season. As a team, Dartmouth is scoring 69.9 points per game on 46% shooting from the field, 36.7% from behind the arc and 72.6% from the foul line this season.
Penn is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a win and 7-21-1 ATS in their last 29 Friday games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 road games. Dartmouth is 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 10-21-1 ATS in their last 32 home games while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 conference matchups. The home team is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings between these two teams.
The home team has had the bulk of the success when these two meet, and Dartmouth has actually been pretty solid ATS as of late. However, Penn is without question the team to beat in the Ivy League right now, and I think the Quakers add another notch to their hot stretch as Dartmouth just isn’t on the same level right now.
