SEC college basketball takes center stage when the Mississippi State Bulldogs take the floor at the Missouri Tigers on Saturday.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs were a non-factor in the SEC a few short weeks ago but the team has made a nice turnaround with four consecutive victories capped off by a 67-63 win versus the Alabama Crimson Tide as a three point home favorite. The Bulldogs held a 46.2%-36.7% shooting edge to win the battle of half court attacks.

Nick Weatherspoon was the Bulldogs top threat at the offensive end with 18 points with Quinndary Weatherspoon adding 13 points and five pulls. Abdul Ado gave Mississippi State eight points and five yanks while Aric Holman and Tyson Carter netted seven points apiece.
The Missouri Tigers have a realistic shot at cracking the top four in the SEC and they might be heading in that direction with three straight wins following a 75-69 win at Mississippi. Missouri rode 45% shooting including 10-23 on threes and a 17-20 effort at the stripe.
Kassius Robertson poured in 27 points to lead the Tigers offense followed by Jontay Porter with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kevin Puryear gave Missouri 12 points and six boards while Jordan Geist added ten points and six assists.
Under is 7-2 in Missouri last 9 overall and under is 7-2 in Missouri last 9 vs. Southeastern and under is 11-5 in Missouri last 16 home games. Favorite is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
I think these teams are on equal footing so I’m inclined to take the points in a competitive contest…
