Northern Illinois vs. Buffalo - 2/10/18 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Buffalo’s leading scorers this year are CJ Massinburg (18.1 PPG; 7.5 RPG) and Nick Perkins (16.2 PPG; 6.2 RPG). Also in double-digits for the Bulls are Wes Clark (14.2 PPG; 5.9 APG) and Harris (14.2 PPG).

As for Northern Illinois, they’re currently 10-14 on the year. The Huskies have lost their last four games, most recently to Toledo Tuesday. In that game, Northern Illinois guard Eugene German managed 30 points.

German is the top scorer for the Huskies with 19.7 PPG and 3.7 RPG. Also in the double-figures club for Northern Illinois are Levi Bradly (14.3 PPG; 5.4 RPG) and Dante Thorpe (11.7 PPG; 3.4 RPG).

The Bulls are 10-3-2 ATS in their last 15 road games and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight Saturday games. Buffalo is also 33-16-4 ATS in their last 53 versus the MAC and 0-2-2 ATS in their last four games overall.

Meanwhile, the Huskies are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight Saturday games. Northern Illinois is also 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win and 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games versus a team with a winning road record.

Buffalo has been scoring pretty well over their last two games, with 180 combined points. That said, the Bulls have also allowed 168 points in that time. The Huskies have been giving up a lot of points as well; at least 81 in each of their last three. Buffalo took this matchup 95-67 on January 16 and they should do well here again. I’ll take the Bulls.
