Coming up from Elam Center on Saturday, the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks and the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks will be meeting up in college basketball action.
SEMO is 11-15 on the year overall. The Redhawks had dropped four in a row, but got a victory on Thursday versus Morehead State. In that game, Southeast Missouri State forward Justin Carpenter put up 20 points.

Heading up the scoring for Southeast Missouri State is Denzel Mahoney with 19.7 PPG and 5.1 RPG. Also in the double-digit club for the Redhawks are Ledarrius Brewer 913.0 PPG) and Daniel Simmons (12.3 PPG).
Over on the Tennessee-Martin side, they’re currently 9-17 this season. The Skyhawks had lost three games in a row before beating Eastern Kentucky on Thursday. In that victory, Tenn-Martin guard DelFincko Bogan logged 19 points.
Matthew Butler is the leading scorer for Tennessee-Martin this season with 15.8 PPG and 3.1 APG. Also in double-figures for the Skyhawks are Darius Thompson (14.2 PPG) and Fatodd Lewis (12.5 PPG; 7.7 RPG).
The Redhawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall. SEMO is also 1-4 ATS in the last five versus Ohio Valley and the over is 5-1 in their last six Saturday games.
Meanwhile, the under is 6-0 in the Skyhawks’ last six overall and 4-0 in their last four Saturday games. The under is also 6-0 in Tenn-Martin’s last six versus the Ohio Valley and 5-1 in their last six home games.
Although Tenn-Martin’s record doesn’t look so good lately, they’ve actually been solid on defense with fewer than 70 points allowed in each of their last six games. Trouble is, the Skyhawks just aren’t putting points on the board, with 57 or fewer in three of their last four. Still, I think Tennessee-Martin has enough strength to hang around here and manage a cover at home. The under probably isn’t a bad play either.
