The Washington State Cougars could definitely use a win here to get out of the Pac-12 basement following an 84-57 loss to Oregon in their last outing. Malachi Flynn led the Cougars with 16 points and a team-high 5 assists, while Viont’e Daniels came 2nd with 11 points as the only other Cougar to score in double figures in the losing effort for Wazzu. Drick Bernstine added 6 points with a team-high 11 rebounds in the loss as well. Robert Franks missed the last game due to injury, but still leads the Cougars in scoring with 17.9 points per game while Flynn leads Wazzu in assists with 4.3 assists per game and Bernstine is the Cougars’ top rebounder with 7 boards per game this season. As a team, Washington State is scoring 73.2 points per game on 44.3% shooting from the field, 37.9% from behind the arc and 73.5% from the foul line this season.
Colorado is 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 road games and 10-22-1 ATS in their last 33 games following a win while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. Washington State is 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a loss while the under is 12-4 in their last 16 home games. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
The home team has had the bulk of the success ATS when these two teams meet, however this line isn’t big enough for me to even consider taking Washington State at home here. Colorado hasn’t been great on the road this season, but it’s better than the alternative so I’ll lay the points with Colorado here.
