The Baylor Bears will be looking to add to their own winning streak which currently sits at 4 games after a 74-73 double overtime win against Texas last time out. Terry Maston led Baylor with 26 points on 12 of 17 shooting while Manu Lecomte added 16 points with 3 triples and a team-high 7 assists and Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. added 14 points with 11 rebounds for the double-double to round out the trio of double digit scorers for Baylor in the win. Mark Vital also chipped in 9 boards in the winning effort for the Bears. Lecomte leads Baylor with an average of 16.8 points and 3.7 assists per game while Lual-Acuil Jr. is the Bears’ top rebounder with 9.2 rebounds per game this season. As a team, Baylor is scoring 77.1 points per game on 47.7% shooting from the field, 36.2% from behind the arc and 73.8% from the foul line this season.

Texas Tech is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 road games. Baylor is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 conference matchups and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 games overall. Texas Tech is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings between these two teams.

I’m a little surprised to see the line as low as it is, but I guess that just speaks to how good Baylor has been at home this season. With that said, Texas Tech in my opinion is the better team here and while it will be a tougher test than expected, I think the Red Raiders have enough to get the win on the road so I’ll lay the point with Texas Tech here.
