The Line: Dartmouth Big Green PK -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

Coming up from Leede Arena on Saturday, the Brown Bears and the Dartmouth Big Green will be meeting up on the college basketball court.

Brown enters this one with a 11-11 record overall. The Bears had a pretty good run of games stretching from December to January, winning five of seven outings. Since then, however, Brown is just 2-4 in their last half-dozen.

The Bears’ last outing was a loss 65-58 to Harvard on Friday. In that game, the top Bears scorer was guard Brandon Anderson with 17 points. Tamenang Choh had a solid stat line as well with 11 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Over on the Dartmouth side, they’re currently sitting at 5-17 on the season. After a 10-game losing streak stretching from late December into February, The Green managed a win over Princeton, but then lost to Yale on Friday.

In that 77-65 Yale defeat, Dartmouth’s leading scorer was guard Miles Wright with 18 points. Will Emery was the only other Big Green Player in double-figures in that game, logging 15 points and three rebounds.

The Bears are 2-7 ATS in their last nine Saturday games and the over is 5-0 in their last five Saturday games. The over is 7-2 in the Bears’ last nine versus a team with a losing straight-up record and 4-1 in their last five versus a team with a winning percentage below .400.

Meanwhile, the Big Green are 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus a team with a winning straight-up record and the under is 4-0 in the last four Saturday games. The over is 4-0 in the last four head-to-head meetings in Dartmouth and 7-2 in their last nine meetings.

Brown managed to hold Harvard to 65 points on Friday, but for the most part the Bears have been giving up quite a lot of points lately. The last time these teams met in a home game for Brown, the Bears took a 64-62 win. This time I think Dartmouth can manage a win if they can tighten the screws on defense a little bit. I’ll take the Big Green.
