The Line: Hofstra Pride -8.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

Coming up from Hofstra Arena on Saturday, the Drexel Dragons and the Hofstra Pride will be matching up on the college basketball court.

Drexel enters this game with a 11-17 record overall. The Dragons have lost their last three straight games, most recently on Thursday to Northeastern. In that one, Drexel guard Tramaine Isabell put up 24 points.

Isabell leads the Dragons on the season as well with 20.0 PPG and 7.2 RPG, while Kurk Lee is second with 12.8 PPG. Also in double-figures for Drexel are Alihan Demir (11.2 PPG), Sammy Mojica (11.2 PPG) and Troy Harper (10.7 PPG).

As for Hofstra, they’re currently 16-11 this season. The Pride have won two of their last three games, and beat William & Mary on Thursday. In that one, Hofstra guard Eli Pemberton managed 26 points.

Justin Wright-Foreman leads the Pride with 24.3 PPG and 3.0 APG this year. Also averaging in double-digits for Hofstra are Pemberton (16.1 PPG; 4.5 RPG) and Rokas Gustys (10.4 PPG; 12.1 RPG).

Drexel is 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall and 6-2 in their last eight versus the Colonial Athletic. The Dragons are also 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 following a straight-up loss and the over is 4-1 in the last five overall.

Meanwhile, the Pride are 3-1-1 ATS in the last five overall and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five versus the Colonial Athletic. Hofstra is also 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 following an ATS win and 14-36-1 ATS in the last 51 home games.

Drexel has a pretty good offense, and they’re scoring well more often than not. Trouble is, the Dragons also allow a lot of points, and it’s hard to keep up that way. Case in point, Drexel lost at home the last time these teams met 91-86. With Hofstra scoring well lately also, I have to take the Pride again here.
