Out at the Kibbie Dome on Saturday evening, the Montana Grizzlies will be taking on the Idaho Vandals in college basketball action.
Montana enters this game with a 20-6 record overall. The Grizzlies had a 13-game winning streak broken by Eastern Washington on Thursday. In that loss, Montana guard Ahmaad Rorie put up 18 points.

Rorie is also the Grizzlies’ leader in scoring on the season with 17.2 PPG, while Michael Oguine is second on 15.3 PPG and 5.0 RPG. Also in double-figures for Montana is Jamar Akoh with 14.0 PPG and a team-high 7.0 RPG.
As for Idaho, they’re sitting at 18-7 this season. The Vandals have won their last five straight games, taking out Montana State on Thursday. In that victory, Idaho forward Brayon Blake managed 24 points.
Tops in scoring on the season for the Vandals is Victor Sanders with 19.2 PPG. Also in double-figures for Idaho are Blake with 15.9 PPG and 9.4 RPG, and Perrion Callandret with 10.1 PPG and 3.2 APG.
Montana is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 road games and 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 versus the Big Sky. The Grizzlies are also 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine Saturday game and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 overall.
Meanwhile, the Vandals are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 Saturday games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven following an ATS loss. Idaho is also 2-8 ATS in the last 10 following a straight-up win and 1-5 ATS in the last six home games.
Montana had been rolling along at a nice clip heading into this week, but hit the wall against Eastern Washington. The Grizzlies put up just 65 points in that one, their lowest total since December 22—which was their most recent loss. Can the Grizzlies get back on the horse here? Probably, but Idaho has a good enough offense that they won’t go away quietly. I’ll take Montana since the line is so thin.
