On Saturday at BankUnited Center, the Syracuse Orange and the Miami Hurricanes will be matching up in college basketball action.
Syracuse enters this game with a 17-9 record overall. The Orange have lost three of their last five games, most recently on Wednesday to NC State. In that loss, Syracuse forward Oshae Brissett logged 25 points.

Heading up the scoring for the Orange this year is Tyus Battle with 20.2 PPG to his name. Also in the double-digit club for Syracuse are Frank Howard (15.1 PPG; 5.1 APG) and Brissett (14.7 PPG; 8.9 RPG).
Over on the Miami side, they’re sitting at 18-7 on the season. The Hurricanes have lost their last two games, falling to Boston College and Virginia. In that Virginia game, Miami guard Chris Lykes managed 19 points.
Tops in scoring for Miami this year is Dewan Huell with 11.8 PPG and 6.6 RPG. The injured Bruce Brown is also in double-figures for the Hurricanes (11.4 PPG; 7.1 RPG), as is Lonnie Walker (11.1 PPG).
The Orange are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 road games and 14-38-2 ATS in their last 54 Saturday games. The over is 22-4-1 in Syracuse’s last 27 road games and 18-7-2 ATS in the last 27 versus the ACC.
Meanwhile, Miami is 7-19 ATS in their last 26 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. The Hurricanes are also 1-6 ATS in their last seven overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven versus the ACC.
Miami was on a pretty good scoring clip there for a few games, but managed just 50 against the very tough Virginia squad. We can pretty much toss that one out, so with that said the Hurricanes have been putting up the points with a bit of regularity. I’m going to go with Miami to cover here and keep it going.
