On Saturday from the Pavilion, the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Ole Miss Rebels will be matching up in college basketball action.

Vanderbilt is currently 11-19 on the year. The Commodores have lost their last three games, and dropped to Missouri their last time out. In that one, Vanderbilt’s leading scorer was forward Jeff Roberson with 19 points.

Roberson is also the leading scorer on the season for Vanderbilt with 16.9 PPG and 7.2 RPG. Riley LaChance (14.1 PPG), Matthew Fisher-Davis (11.2 PPG) and Saben Lee (10.3 PPG) are also in double-digits for Vanderbilt.

As for Ole Miss, they’re currently 12-18 this year. The Rebels have lost their last two games, and fell in their most recent appearance Wednesday to Kentucky. In that one, Ole Miss guard Terence Davis put up 26 points.

Heading up the scoring for the Rebels this year is Deandre Burnett with 13.8 PPG, and Davis has 13.6 PPG. Also in double-figures for Ole Miss are Breein Tyree (10.6 PPG) and Bruce Stevens (10.4 PPG).

The Commodores are 7-22 ATS in their last 29 games overall and 3-10 ATS in the last 13 road games. Vanderbilt is also 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the SEC and the over is 7-3 in their last 10 overall.

Meanwhile, Ole Miss is 1-8 ATS in their last nine versus the SEC and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 overall. The Rebels are also 0-5 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games.

Vanderbilt was off to a decent scoring run for a handful of games there, but put up just 66 versus Missouri. That said, I’m not too crazy about Mississippi’s offense lately either. All things considered, and with the Rebels being ice-cold against the spread lately, I think Vanderbilt holds the cards here.
