The Montana Grizzlies won their 2nd consecutive game and improved to 22-7 (15-2 Big Sky) on the season after defeating the Weber State Wildcats, 75-57, this past Thursday. Montana was outstanding on the offensive end and pulled away in the 2nd half after taking a 63-43 lead with 7:29 left in regulation. Defensively, Montana is holding their opponents to an average of 68.1 ppg on 42.1% shooting from the field. The Grizzlies have a rebound margin of 4.3 and a turnover margin of 3.2.
The Bengals are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall however, are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up win. The Grizzlies are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 17-4-1 ATS in their last 22 games overall.
Idaho State has won 4 of their last 6 games and has been led by their offense that ranks 172nd in scoring offense, 42nd in FG%, and 16th in 3P-FG%. Montana has gotten back on track after losing back to back games on the road, with two blowouts at home against Montana State and Weber State, and currently rank 80th in scoring offense and 72nd in scoring defense. Montana has been outstanding at home this season, posting a perfect 13-0 record, and as I just don’t see the Bengals defense being able to slow down the Montana offense in this one, I’m taking Montana to cover this large spread.
