The Line: Saint Louis Billikens +2.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

On Saturday evening from Chaifetz Arena, the St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Saint Louis Billikens will be meeting up on the college basketball circuit.

St. Bonaventure comes into this one with a 23-6 record so far. The Bonnies have won their last 11 straight, including Tuesday’s 3OT win over Davidson. In that game, St. Bonaventure guard Jaylen Adams put up 34 points.

Adams is the leading Bonnies scorer with 20.8 PPG and 5.4 APG. Also in double-figures for St. Bonaventure are Matt Mobley (18.4 PPG; 5.1 RPG) and Courtney Stockard (12.3 PPG; 6.3 RPG).

As for Saint Louis, they’re sitting at 16-14 this year. The Billikens have lost two of their last three games, dropping to Duquesne on Wednesday. In that most recent game, Saint Louis’ leading scorer was guard Javon Bess with 20 points.

Bess leads the Billikens in scoring this season with 13.2 PPG and 7.5 RPG. Also in the Saint Louis double-figures club are Jordan Goodwin (11.5 PPG; 7.5 RPG) and Davell Roby (11.0 PPG).

St. Bonaventure is 4-1 ATS in their last five following a straight-up win and 4-1 ATS in the last five overall. The Bonnies are also 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Atlantic 10 and 1-4 ATS in their last five Saturday games.

Meanwhile, Saint Louis is 6-0 ATS in the last six Saturday games and 6-0 ATS in the last six following an ATS loss. The Billikens are also 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 36-16 ATS in the last 52 versus the Atlantic 10.

St. Bonaventure’s record since January 19 is spotless, but the Bonnies have certainly had a couple of close calls lately. The last time these teams met, St. Bonaventure put up a 79-56 win, and I don’t think Saint Louis has the juice to keep up here. I’ll take the Bonnies.
