The Holy Cross Crusaders have been offensively challenged in 2017-18 but suddenly found the range in an 81-65 upset of #3 Navy in the Patriot quarterfinals. Holy Cross rode a 49-34 second half spurt behind a season high 67.6% shooting accuracy.

Jehyve Ford topped the Crusaders offensive explosion with 20 points on 8-9 followed by Austin Butler with 18 points and six boards. Holy Cross received 15 points from Caleb Green while Jacob Anderson and Patrick Benzan contributed 12 and eleven points.
The second seed Colgate Red Raiders have won four in a row after upending Lafayette 76-54 in the quarterfinals. Colgate held a small 43.1%- 41-3% shooting edge but totaled 19 more looks thanks to 15 forced turnovers and a +18 on the backboards.
The balanced Red Raiders offense received 18 points from Sean O’Brien on 7-11 followed by Will Rayman with 16 points and 12 rebounds on 4-10. Jordan Burns gave Colgate another 12 points on 5-11 with Dana Batt adding eleven points and seven boards.
