Sunday college basketball brings us a CAA quarterfinal bout between the Delaware Blue Hens and the Northeastern Huskies.
The Delaware Blue Hens have had too many struggles in 2017-18 but the season was extended another day after an 86-79 victory versus the Elon Phoenix in round one of the CAA playoffs. Delaware rode a 57.4%-45.6% marksmanship edge and an 18-7 edge at the charity stripe.

Ryan Daly topped an explosive Blue Hens offense with 23 points on 10-18 followed by a 20 point, eleven rebound effort from Eric Carter. Ryan Allen gave Delaware another 14 points while Anthony Mosely tossed in 13 points.
The second seed Northeastern Huskies bring a seven game win streak and momentum in to the CAA quarterfinals after upending Elon 81-59 in the final game of the regular season. Northeastern opened up a 13 point lead at the break behind a 47.4%-39.3% shooting advantage.
Vasa Pusica was the top Huskies weapon with a contest high 31 points on 9-23 and 9-9 at the stripe. Shawn Occeus gave Northeastern 13 points, five pulls and six steals on 4-9 while Bolden Brace and Donnell Gresham Jr tossed in eleven points each.
