The Gonzaga Bulldogs will be looking to wrap up their 6th straight conference tournament title and 14th in the last 18 years after defeating San Francisco by a final score of 88-60 in the semifinals on Monday. Killian Tillie led the Bulldogs with 26 points on 10 of 11 shooting, drilling all 5 of his three point attempts while Rui Hachimura added 17 points on 5 of 9 shooting with a perfect 7 of 7 mark from the foul line. Zach Norvell Jr. added 14 points on 5 of 9 shooting with 4 threes and 3 steals while Johnathan Williams matched his 10 points with 10 rebounds to round out the scoring in double figures for Gonzaga with a double-double. Josh Perkins chipped in 6 points and a team-high 8 assists to lead the Bulldogs in helpers when all was said and done. Williams leads Gonzaga with an average of 13.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while Perkins leads the Bulldogs in assists with 5.3 assists per game this season. As a team, Gonzaga is scoring the 8th-most points per game in the country with 84.8 per game while owning the 6th-best field goal percentage in the nation at 50.4% from the field. The ‘Zags are also shooting 37.2% from behind the arc and 72.1% from the foul line this season.

BYU is 18-37-1 ATS in their last 56 neutral site games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a win while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 games overall. Gonzaga is 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games overall and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 conference matchups. The favorite is 12-5-2 ATS in the last 19 meetings between these two teams.

BYU’s win over Saint Mary’s was impressive and the Cougars are in a must-win situation if they want to make the big dance. Gonzaga is in, but there is still an outside chance at a #1 seed and a loss would certainly close the door on those aspirations. BYU has the capabilities of keeping this one close and possibly winning it outright. I know the favorite has had a lot of success ATS in this matchup, and Gonzaga could come out firing, but I think BYU keeps this one close until the very end, so I'll take a shot at BYU and the points here.
