At Verizon Center in college basketball’s Atlantic 10 Tournament on Wednesday, the Fordham Rams and the George Washington Colonials will be meeting up on the court.

Fordham enters this one with a 9-21 record overall. The Rams have lost their last six games, and dropped to VCU on Saturday. In that one, Fordham’s leading scorer was guard Joseph Chartouny with 16 points.

Leading the Rams in scoring on the year with 13.6 PPG is Will Tavares, and Prokop Slanina is second on 12.5 PPG and 5.1 RPG. Also in double-figures this year is Chartouny with 12.0 PPG and 5.6 RPG.

Over on the George Washington side, they're currently 14-17 on the year. The Colonials have lost two of the last three games, falling to Dayton on Saturday. In that loss, George Washington guard Yuta Watanabe put up 21 points.

Watanabe leads the scoring on the year for the Colonials as well with 16.6 PPG and 6.3 RPG> Also in double-figures for George Washington are Jair Bolden (10.7 PPG) and Patrick Steeves (10.4 PPG; 5.3 RPG).

The Rams are 17-36-2 ATS in their last 55 overall and 0-5 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. Fordham is also 0-4 ATS in their last four versus the Atlantic 10 and 0-6 ATS in the last six neutral-site games.

Meanwhile, the Colonials are 4-0 ATS in their last four Wednesday games and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven neutral-site games. The under is 5-0 in George Washington’s last five neutral-site games and the over is 5-1 in the last six Wednesday games.

It’s been a rough offensive stretch for Fordham lately, as they’ve failed to pass 60 points in five of their last six games. These teams just met up on February 28, where George Washington secured a 72-56 victory. I don’t see a whole lot of reasons not to take the Colonials again here.
