USA TODAY Sports

Nixon is the Rams’ leading scorer this year with 16.2 PPG, and Deion James is second with 10.5 PPG. The only other Colorado State player in double-figures this year is Jeremiah Paige, with 10.4 PPG in 23 games.

Over on the Aggies’ side, they’re sitting at 15-16 on the season. Utah State had lost four straight games, but won in their last appearance Saturday to UNLV. In that one, Aggies guard Koby McEwen put up 18 points.

Sam Merrill is the leading scorer for the Aggies this season on 16.1 PPG, while McEwen is the only other Utah State player averaging in double-figures on 15.3 PPG and 5.2 RPG.

The Rams are 3-7-2 ATS in their last 12 overall and 3-7-2 ATS in their last 12 versus the Mountain West. Colorado State is also 2-5 ATS in their last seven neutral-site games and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games.

Meanwhile, the Aggies are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 following an ATS win and 1-4 ATS in their last five versus a team with a losing straight-up record. Utah State is also 1-4 ATS in their last five overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the Mountain West.

Colorado State has scored pretty well over their last two games, with at least 83 points in each. that said, the Rams have also allowed 200 total points in that time. The last game the Rams played the Aggies, Colorado State took an 84-75 road win. I’m not thrilled with the Rams right now, but I think they can cover here.
