Out at Barclays Center on Friday evening, we’ve got ACC Tournament college basketball action coming between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Duke Blue Devils.

Duke comes into this game with a 26-6 record overall. The Blue Devils had a stretch where they lost three out of four games stretching from January into February but since have lost just once in eight games.

The Blue Devils managed an 88-70 tournament win over Notre Dame on Thursday. In that one, Duke forward Marvin Bagley put up 33 points and 17 rebounds. Grayson Allen also had a nice game for the Devils with 23 points.

Over on the North Carolina side, they’re currently 24-9 on the season. the Tar Heels had a six-game win streak broken back on February 27 with two losses, but since have won their last pair of outings.

In the Thursday 82-65 tourney win over Miami, North Carolina’s Theo Pinson put up 25 points to lead the team. Guard Cameron Johnson also had a nice line for the Tar Heels with 13 points and seven rebounds.

The Tar Heels are 5-1 ATS in their last six following an ATS win and 4-1 ATS in their last five Friday games. North Carolina is also 7-3 ATS in the last 10 games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 versus the ACC.

Meanwhile, the Devils are 5-0 ATS in their last five Friday games and 7-1 ATS in the last eight games overall. Duke is also 7-1 ATS in their last eight versus the ACC and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 neutral-site games.

Aside from a 63-point dud versus Virginia Tech, the Blue Devils have been rolling along pretty well lately. The season series between these two teams has been split so far though, with NC taking an 82-78 win February 8 and Duke winning 74-64 on March 3. This should be a fun game, but all things considered I’m going with the Tar Heels here.
