Out at Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday, the MAC Tournament continues as the Toledo Rockets and the Buffalo Bulls meet up on the college basketball court.
Toledo comes in here with a 23-10 record overall this season. The Rockets ran into a bit of trouble in February with three losses in a five-game stretch, but since have straightened things out with two tourney wins.

In the Rockets’ 64-63 victory over Eastern Michigan on Friday, their leading scorer was guard Marreon Jackson with 26 points and five rebounds. Forward Willie Jackson also had a nice outing with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
As for Buffalo, they’re sitting at 25-8 on the year. The Bulls have been pretty consistent this season since starting out at 7-5, losing just three games since December 21. Buffalo has a five-game win streak right now.
The Bulls took a 78-61 tournament victory over Kent State on Friday. In that one, Buffalo’s lead scorer was guard Jeremy Harris with 22 points and seven rebounds. CJ Massinburg also had a nice game for the Bulls with 14 points and six boards.
The Rockets are 13-6 ATS in the last 19 neutral-site games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight overall. Toledo is also 2-6 ATS in their last eight versus the MAC and 1-4 ATS in the last five following a straight-up win.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are 6-1-2 ATS in their last nine games following an ATS win and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Buffalo is also 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the MAC and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 neutral-site games.
Way back on January 2 when these teams last met, Buffalo took a high-flying 104-94 win. This game should be a fun one to watch as well, and I expect it to be close. I’m going to go with Toledo to cover here though, as their defense has been reasonably consistent over the last handful of games.
