The Iowa Hawkeyes advanced to the finals by virtue of a 77-69 win over Oregon in the semifinals. Jordan Bohannon led the Hawkeyes with 16 points while Luka Garza chipped in 12 points and Ryan Kriener added 11 points to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for the Hawkeyes in the win. Tyler Cook fell just one point shy of a double-double with 9 points to go along with his 10 rebounds in the winning effort. Heading into Thursday’s action, Cook led Iowa with 14.5 points and 7 rebounds per game while Bohannon led the Hawkeyes with 3 assists per game. As a team, heading into Thursday’s matchup. Iowa was averaging 85 points per game on 48% shooting from the field, 27.9% from behind the 3-point line and 74.7% from the foul line.

UCONN is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 non-conference games while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a win. Iowa is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games and 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games while the over is 18-7-1 in their last 26 games overall.

Iowa has been the better team between these two on a neutral floor. However, something about this game just screams that this will be a tight game down the stretch. I think both teams will have their share of swings in the game, but this is a game that should come down to the last couple of possessions so I'll take UCONN and the points here.
