The Mastodons are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 6-25 ATS in their last 31 road games. The Flyers are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games overall and just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win.
Purdue Fort Wayne didn’t put up much of a battle in their matchups against UCLA & Ohio State earlier this season however, this is still a team that has some talent, especially in John Konchar who is considered a top-5 player in the Summit League. That being said, Dayton has to be happy with their 2-0 start to start season, especially as they have been without their best player in Josh Cunningham who looks like he’ll be a go for this matchup on Friday. I’m tempted to roll with the double-digit points here however, the Mastodons have been horrible historically ATS on the road and as I just think Dayton is just the more well-rounded team, I’m picking the Flyers to cover this double-digit spread.
