The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens will be matching up in college basketball activity on Monday from Bob Carpenter Center.
Louisiana Tech comes into this one at 4-2 so far this season. The Bulldogs opened up with victories over Wichita State, Sam Houston and Harding before falling to LSU and beating Tougaloo.

In Saturday’s matchup versus UNCG, the Bulldogs fell again 80-73. In that one, LA Tech’s Exavian Christon put up 15 points to lead the team, while Oliver Powell just missed a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Over on the Delaware side, they’re 4-2 as well this season. The Hens opened with a loss to Maryland, but then rattled off four straight victories over Saint Peter’s, Chestnut Hill, Cornell and Wilmington (Del.).
In Friday’s game versus UNCG, the Hens dropped another one 84-65. Topping the scorers for Delaware in that one was Ithiel Horton with 18 points, while Eric Carter and Matt Veretto combined for 29 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 4-0 ATS in their last four versus the CAA. LA Tech is also 3-10 ATS in their last 13 following a straight-up loss and the over is 5-0 in their last five Monday games.
Meanwhile, the Hens are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 overall. The Hens are 1-5 ATS in their last six Monday games and the under is 4-1-1 in their last six Monday games.
Louisiana Tech started out the season with a nice run, but they’ve had the misfortune of playing a couple of very solid teams over their last three games.
As for Delaware, they were in the UNCG game until after halftime, but really lost the handle down the stretch.
This should be a pretty decent matchup, but I’m going with Louisiana Tech on a slim cover.
