On the season, Idaho is averaging 76.8 ppg on 48.2% shooting from the field. The Vandals are averaging 7.7 three-pointers per game on 32.9% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Idaho has been led by Cameron Tyson (17.0 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 1.2 apg), Trevon Allen (13.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.7 apg, 1.2 spg), Scott Blakney (10.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 1.0 apg), and Marquell Fraser (8.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 3.7 apg, 1.0 spg).

Defensively, Idaho is allowing their opponents to average 69.2 ppg on 40.3% shooting from the field. The Vandals have a rebound margin of 1.5 and a turnover margin of -0.7.

The North Dakota Fighting Hawks lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 4-3 on the season after being defeated by the Montana State Bobcats, 81-76, this past Tuesday. North Dakota held a 66-61 lead with just 5:49 remaining, however, struggled offensively down the stretch and couldn’t fight back after Montana State took a 74-69 lead with just a minute left in regulation. North Dakota shot 49.1% from the field, however, was outrebounded by the Bobcats by a 38-26 margin in the loss. Leading the way for the North Dakota was Billy Brown who had 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.

On the season, North Dakota is averaging 81.4 ppg on 50.4% shooting from the field. The Fighting Hawks are averaging 9.1 three-pointers per game on 41.0% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, North Dakota has been led by Cortez Seales (14.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.1 apg), Conner Avants (13.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 2.0 apg), Aanen Moody (9.1 ppg, 1.9 apg, 1.0 spg), and Filip Rebraca (7.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.2  bpg).

Defensively, North Dakota is allowing their opponents to average 67.6 ppg on 40.7% shooting from the field. The Fighting Hawks have a rebound margin of 0.7 and a turnover margin of 0.6.

The Vandals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. Summit opponents and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 Saturday games. The Fighting Hawks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games however, just 5-13-1 ATS in their last 19 games following a straight up loss.

Idaho has had a tough start to their season however, I’m not sold on the North Dakota at all, especially after dropping back to back games to Utah Valley and Montana State. Idaho has been one of the more consistent teams in the Big Sky over the past few years and as they have a team that ranks in the top 100 in both FG% & defensive FG%, I’m taking the Vandals to cover with the points.
