The Drake Bulldogs will travel to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena to take on the Milwaukee Panthers this Thursday night in College Basketball action.
The Drake Bulldogs won their 4th straight game and improved to 5-1 on the season after defeating the North Dakota State Bison, 95-88, this past Saturday. Drake shot 56.1% from the field and 52.2% from beyond the arc in the victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Nick McGlynn who had 23 points, 7 rebounds, and an assist.

The Milwaukee Panthers lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 2-6 on the season after being defeated by the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks, 66-51, this past Saturday. Milwaukee struggled offensively agianst the Stephen F. Austin defense and couldn’t fight back after a 15-2 Lumberjacks run to start the 2nd half gave Stephen F. Austin a 44-27 lead with 13:40 left in regulation. Milwaukee shot just 32.8% from the field and 14.8% from beyond the arc in the loss. The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win. The Panthers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. MVC opponents and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up loss.
It’s going to be a long year for Milwaukee as the Panthers have really struggled on both ends of the court as they come in ranked just 284th in scoring offense, 312th in FG%, and 280th in scoring defense. Drake has a solid offense that can really light it up from beyond the arc and as I just don’t see the Panthers being able to keep up with the offensive pace of the Bulldogs, I’m taking the Bulldogs to cover this small road spread.
