Darnell Dunn gave Pepperdine 12 points and eight boards on 5-10 accuracy followed by a nine point, five pull effort from Jade’ Smith on 4-7.
The Cal State Riverside Highlanders have dropped three in a row following an 82-73 defeat at Valparaiso on Sunday. Cal State Riverside fell behind by nine points at the halfway point and could only trade baskets the rest of the way with the Crusaders holding a 60%-44.1% shooting edge.
