The Arizona State Sun Devils will look to build on their 7-0 start to the year after an 83-71 win over Texas Southern in their last outing. Romello White led ASU with 19 points along with 14 rebounds for the double-double while Luguentz Dort came right behind with 18 points. Zylan Cheatham and Taeshon Cherry each added 14 points with Cherry hitting 4 threes while Cheatham added 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the triple-double. Kimani Lawrence added 13 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists to round out the scoring in double figures for Arizona State in the win. Dort leads Arizona State in scoring with 21.7 points per game while Cheatham leads ASU with an average of 9.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game this season. As a team, Arizona State is averaging 86.1 points per game on 47.6% shooting from the field, 36.2% from behind the 3-point line and 66.8% from the foul line this season.

Nevada is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against the Pac-12 while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 non-conference games. Arizona State is 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games against the Mountain West and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 non-conference games while the under is 11-5-2 in their last 18 Friday games.

I said coming into this game that I’d want to be on whatever side had the points with this game being played on a neutral floor. And with that said, I definitely didn’t expect the line to be this thick. Yes, Nevada is the better team here in my opinion, and while it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Wolf Pack win this by double-digits, I think Arizona State can at the very worst keep this one close as I don’t see that much of a gap between the two sides offensively, so I’ll take a shot with Arizona State and the points here.
