The Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers will be out to snap a 3-game losing streak after a 75-61 loss to Drake in their last outing. Darius Roy led the Panthers with 19 points on 5 of 9 shooting with a pair of threes and a 7 of 8 mark from the foul line while DeAndre Abram and Vance Johnson each had 12 points along with a team-high 8 rebounds to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for the Panthers in the loss. The North Dakota Fighting Hawks will be looking to snap a 4-game losing streak after a 70-56 loss to UTRGV in their last outing. Cortez Seales led North Dakota with 17 points on 7 of 12 shooting along with a team-high 7 rebounds while Kienan Walker added 15 points and 7 rebounds of his own with a pair of steals as the only two North Dakota players to finish in double figures scoring in the losing effort. Seales leads North Dakota with an average of 12.8 points and 2.8 assists per game while Conner Avants leads the Fighting Hawks in rebounding with 6 rebounds per game this season. As a team, North Dakota is averaging 75.6 points per game on 47.6% shooting from the field, 37.7% from behind the arc and 72.3% from the foul line this season.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 games overall. North Dakota is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 games following a loss.
Neither one of these teams are ones that I feel comfortable putting my hard-earned money on, so it’s probably better to watch this game rather than bet it. However, while a low line with North Dakota at home makes sense on the surface, all 3 of North Dakota’s wins at home came against subdivision opponents with their lone loss coming in the form of a 13-point loss against Idaho in their last home game. Milwaukee isn’t a team to bet on the regular, but the Panthers have done a good job following up their losses and have done well against teams with losing records, so I’ll take the free bucket with Milwaukee here.
