The Butler Bulldogs had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 9-4 on the season after being defeated by the Florida Gators, 77-43, this past Saturday. Butler seemed like they forgot that they were playing a basketball game early in this one and couldn’t fight back after Florida scored the first 21 points of the game. Butler shot 30.6% from the field & 20.8% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Kamar Baldwin who had 9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and an assist.

The Hoyas are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games and 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 road games following three or more consecutive home games. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points, however, just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Georgetown has a nice start to their season and although they haven’t played the toughest in terms in competition, they have an offense that ranks 38th in scoring offense and gave a decent Syracuse team all they could handle on the road in a 72-71 loss. Butler is better than they team we saw last Saturday and has been led by their defense that ranks 45th in scoring defense & 77th in 3P-FG%. Butler is a tough team at home (7-0 this season) however, as the Hoyas should have a huge advantage on the boards, I think Georgetown can do enough to cover with this many points. Take Georgetown to cover.
