The SMU Mustangs and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane meet in college basketball action from Reynolds Center on Saturday.

SMU is sitting at 18-7 so far. The Mustangs are 2-2 in their last four games, beating Connecticut and Houston while falling to Temple and Tulane otherwise in that stretch.

In the loss to the Wave, SMU’s Isiaha Mike led the team with 18 points and six rebounds. Tyson Jolly added 16 points and four boards there, and Emmanuel Bandoumel had 15 points with two rebounds and one assist.

Over on the Tulsa side, they’re 17-9 on the year. The Hurricane are 2-3 in the last five games, beating South Florida and East Carolina while otherwise falling to Connecticut, UCF and Houston.

In the loss to the Cougars, Tulsa’s Martins Igbanu led the team on 15 points with five rebounds. Also in double-digits there was Jeriah Horne with 12 points and seven rebounds for the Hurricane.

The under is 21-7 in the Hurricane’s last 28 overall and 15-5-1 in their last 21 home games. Tulsa is 4-0 ATS in their last four Saturday games and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.

Meanwhile, the Mustangs are 4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games and 1-5 ATS in the last six road games. SMU is 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight after a straight-up loss and the over is 5-0 in their last five overall.

SMU has had a good offensive run in the five games since posting just 43 in a loss to Cincinnati. In that five-outing stretch, the Mustangs have put up at least 72 points in each game, but they’ve also given up at least 72 in each of their last four.

As for Tulsa, they had a couple of good offensive outings going there but have managed a total of just 99 points in their last two games combined. I’m going to stick with SMU on the cover here.

Andrew’s Pick SMU Mustangs +1.5

The pick in this article is the opinion of the writer, not a Sports Chat Place site consensus.
