The Line: Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix -4 -- Over/Under: 155
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies and the Green Bay Phoenix meet in college basketball action from Resch Center on Thursday.
Oakland is currently sitting at 14-18 overall. Since their last loss to IUPUI, Oakland took out UIC last weekend, then beat Cleveland State in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament.
In the win over Cleveland State, Oakland’s leading scorer was Xavier Hill-Mais with 26 points, 12 rebounds and one assist. Daniel Oladapo added 19 points with four rebounds and one assist there, and Tray Maddox chipped in 17 points, three rebounds and five assists.
Over on the Green Bay side, they’re 16-15 this year. Since last falling to Oakland back on February 23, Green Bay has won consecutive games over Youngstown State and Cleveland State.
In the win over Cleveland State, Green Bay’s Kameron Hankerson led the team with 17 points, six rebounds and one assist. JayQuan McCloud doubled up for Green Bay in that one, posting 12 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists; both Manny Patterson and PJ Pipes chipped in 11 points apiece.
Green Bay is 4-0-1 ATS in their last five Thursday games and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss. Green Bay is 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 home games and the over is 19-9 in the last 28 overall.
Meanwhile, Oakland is 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 road games and 1-3-1 ATS in the last five Thursday games. Oakland is 5-1 ATS in their last six overall and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight after an ATS win.
Since early February, Oakland has been on a pretty solid run, with 72 or more points in five of their last seven games. Oakland had three straight games decided by four or fewer points (2-1), but didn’t have much trouble at all with Cleveland State in an 80-59 win.
As for Green Bay, they’ve hit 74 or more points in each of their last five games, which includes a 92-88 road loss to Oakland. This should be another pretty good game and a fairly close affair. I like Green Bay to come out strong and get a little revenge, through.
