The Line: Texas A&M Aggies +4 -- Over/Under: 135
The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Texas A&M Aggies meet in college basketball action from Reed Arena on Saturday.
Arkansas sits at 19-11 on the year. Across their last four games, Arkansas is 3-1, falling to Georgia but otherwise taking out Missouri, Tennessee and LSU during that stretch of outings.
In the win over LSU, Arkansas’ leading scorer was Mason ones on 36 points, three assists and two rebounds. Jimmy Whitt added 26 points with 15 rebounds and five assists in that one, and Desi Sills chipped in 13 points, two assists and three boards.
Over on the Texas A&M side, they’re 15-14 this year. Over their last six, Texas A&M is 4-2, falling to Kentucky and LSU while otherwise beating Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi State and Auburn in that time.
In the win over Auburn, Texas A&M’s leading scorer was Josh Nebo on 19 points and three rebounds. Savion Flagg, Wendell Mitchell and Jay Jay Chandler each put up 14 points apiece there, combining for six assists and 13 rebounds as well.
Texas A&M is 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven after an ATS win. The over is 6-2 in Texas A&M’s last eight home games and the under is 4-1 in their last five after an ATS win.
Meanwhile, the over is 18-4 in Arkansas’ last 22 overall and 7-1 in their last eight road games. Arkansas is 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five after an ATS win.
Over their last four games, Arkansas has put up some healthy points totals, with 78 or more in each of those. On the whole—and despite a few duds here and there depending on the matchup—Arkansas has scored pretty well overall this season and they’re a pretty solid team.
As for Texas A&M, they came up with just 110 combined in the Kentucky and LSU games, but dropped 78 on Auburn in the three-point win their last time out. This one should be a pretty fun matchup, especially if both teams’ shots are falling. I like Arkansas slightly better on the cover, but it should be close.
