The Northwestern State Demons and the Sam Houston State Bearkats meet in a Southland tournament second round matchup in college basketball action from the Merrell Center on Thursday night.

I'd be lying to you if I said I was a season's pass holder for either of these teams and watched their games religiously, but going deeper, maybe someone knows something with Sam Houston State being favored here, but I'm not buying it personally. Northwestern State has gone 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games and held their own pretty well in that stretch, while Sam Houston State's failed to cover in any of their lsat 5 games. I'm not going anywhere near this game, but based on recent form I'd take a shot with the Demons and the points in this one.
