Monmouth is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a home underdog and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games following a loss.
I’m not overly quick to jump on an under after a team scores 88 points and gives up 96 in their season opener like Monmouth did, but I’m expecting to see more of what we saw from Saint Peter’s in their last outing as this game turns into more of a grind-it-out and physical style where points come at a premium. The last meeting between these two went over, but before that, the previous 5 matchups finished under the total and those totals were all much lower than this number we have here. I think this line’s a bit of an overreaction to Monmouth’s first outing from a total standpoint, so I’ll side with the under in this one.
