The Maine Black Bears had their chances to beat Hartford yesterday, but they simply couldn't hit an outside shot and didn't get to the line much. And while Maine still had its chances to win, Hartford didn't play to the level its capable of and still managed to win despite 19 turnovers. It's fair to say that Hartford is the better team here and I expect the Hawks to play cleaner basketball overall. While it was their first game of the season and rust is sure to be apart of things, it's hard to have much confidence in the Maine Black Bears after their first showing. It's Hartford and the chalk here or pass for me.
