Xavier is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record and 7-16-1 ATS in their last 24 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the over is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall. The favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.
I get why Xavier is favored here as the Musketeers continue to roll along and are still looking like one of the best teams in the country and are qualified to hold their ranking. However, Xavier has a key matchup with Creighton on deck following this game, so there may be a bit of a look-ahead for Xavier and while I’m not sure the Golden Eagles win outright, I think this could be a 2-3 point game so I’ll take Marquette and the points in this one.
