The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions and the Baylor Bears meet in college basketball action from the Ferrell Center on Monday night.

The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions will look to pull off the biggest upset in program history, sitting at 1-7 after an 81-56 loss to North Texas last time out. The Baylor Bears will look to stay perfect at 5-0 SU and ATS after a 100-69 win over Kansas State last time out. MaCio Teague led the Bears with 23 points on 8 of 14 shooting with 10 rebounds and 5 threes for the double-double while Davion Mitchell added 20 points on 7 of 12 shooting with 6 threes. Arkansas-Pine Bluff is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games after a double-digit loss of 20+ points while the over is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall. Baylor is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games while the over is 7-2 in their last 9 games overall.

This spread is absolutely bonkers, being asked to lay almost six touchdowns with Baylor… I know, I know, wrong sport. But this is still a giant number and you know what? Baylor’s going to cover it with ease. I’d vouch for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, but this is still a Golden Lions team that’s lost to the likes of North Texas by 25, Northwestern by 43, Saint Louis by a whopping 53 points, almost getting doubled up by giving up 107 points, as well as a 42 point loss to Marquette to start the year. And Baylor is better than all of those teams. And if you were worried about a look-ahead for Baylor with Big 12 play looming, they still play Central Arkansas after Christmas so Baylor’s full focus is on UAPB here. I look for Baylor to have this one nearly wrapped up with a bow by halftime, so I’ll lay the points with the Bears in a rout.
