Tulane is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 12-4 ATS in their last 16 road games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win. East Carolina is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 7-2 in their last 9 home games. The underdog is 16-4-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings between these two teams.
I get East Carolina being favored at home, but outside of the double-digit loss to SMU on the road, I see nothing here that suggests that ECU should be this heavy of a favorite between the two sides. Tulane’s played the slightly tougher schedule, but in their toughest game so far, the Green Wave lost to Memphis by just six as a 10-point dog, and in this line of work, the cover is all I’m concerned about. Add in the dominance of the underdog in this matchup, and I think you have to take Tulane and the points in this one.
