Gardner-Webb is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games overall while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 road games. Hampton is 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 home games against a team with a losing road record.
The points with Hampton as a home dog are worth a look, but the fact is that while Gardner-Webb are 1-4 and probably shouldn’t be laying points on the road, when you dig deeper, you see that all of their games have come against some pretty good competition. Hampton’s a game below .500 but they haven’t had the toughest schedule up to this point and I think in this case, steel sharpens steel and the tests do Gardner-Webb well for games like these. I’ll lay the points with Gardner-Webb in this spot.
