Stetson opened up their year with four straight losses to Emmanuel GA, Miami, Florida and South Florida. Since then it’s been three straight wins for the Hatters. They’ve taken out Florida Atlantic, Carver and North Alabama in that stretch.
In Friday’s 86-77 win over the Lions, Stetson’s top contributor was Rob Perry on 29 points with six rebounds and four assists. Mahamadou Diawara added 18 points with seven rebounds, and Christiaan Jones had 16 points with seven boards.
Over on the North Alabama side, they began their year with two wins before falling to Troy and Indiana. The Lions got two more wins over Crowley’s Ridge and Freed-Hardeman before Friday’s loss to Stetson.

The Lions are 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 overall and 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven as an underdog. The over is 10-4 in North Alabama’s last 14 overall and 5-1 in their last six Saturday games.
Meanwhile, the Hatters are 13-6 ATS in the last 19 Saturday games and the over is 5-1 in their last six overall. The over is 6-1 in the Hatters’ last seven road games and the under is 4-1 in the last five Saturday games.
PICK: I’m going to take North Alabama here. Friday’s matchup was a good one, and Stetson held a slim 39-37 lead at halftime. a 47-point second half from the Hatters thwarted a comeback from the Lions, but North Alabama finished with some solid performances across the board on their roster. I like the Lions to bounce back and get a revenge cover in this one.
