Over on the Central Michigan side, they began their year with three straight losses before clawing back to .500 with wins over Western Illinois, Valparaiso and St. Francis. Since then the Chippewas are 2-3, with losses to Western Michigan and Bowling Green (twice).
In Saturday’s 93-65 blowout loss to Bowling Green, Central Michigan’s Travon Broadway led the team with 19 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Meikkel Murray added 14 points and four rebounds, and both Caleb Huffman and Caleb Hodgson chipped in 10 points apiece.

Meanwhile, the Flashes are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS win. The over is 7-3 in Kent State’s last 10 overall and 4-1 in the last five after a straight-up win.
PICK: I’m going to take Kent State here. This should be a pretty entertaining matchup, though. The Chippewas came up short against a good Bowling Green team in their last two outings, but generally they’ve been scoring pretty well this season. Kent State has hit some nice offensive numbers themselves, with a combined 164 points in their last two games. This should be a higher-scoring affair, and I like the Flashes to eke out a cover.
