Washington State opened the season with eight straight wins. Those came versus Texas Southern, Eastern Washington, Oregon State, Idaho, Portland State, Montana State, Prairie View and Northwestern State. Since then it’s been a win over Cal between losses to Arizona and Stanford.
In the 75-60 loss to the Cardinal on Saturday, Washington State’s Andrej Jakimovski posted 19 points with three rebounds, and Isaac Bonton chipped in 18 points with seven assists and three rebounds. Tony Miller was also in double-figures with 11 points and eight boards.

The Bruins are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine home games and 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 after a straight-up win. UCLA is 3-1-1 ATS in their last five Thursday games and the over is 4-1 in the last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Cougars are 7-17-1 ATS in their last 25 road games and 4-0 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss. The over is 6-0 in Washington State’s last six road games and 5-1 in their last six overall.
PICK: I like UCLA here. This should be a pretty great matchup, though. UCLA has been scoring well lately, notching 72 or more in three of their last four games. Thing is, the Bruins have also been giving up a lot of points to quality teams, with 70 or more allowed in four of their last five. Washington State has a pretty solid offense themselves and we should have a reasonably high-scoring game here, but I like UCLA to eventually pull out a cover. Should be a fun one to watch.
